Ha! Now I just need to take my own advice and actually plan our first six weeks of lessons…lol.

I’m so jealous! You have a built-in babysitter! By the time our oldest is old enough (and responsible enough) to babysit, the younger kids probably won’t need it anymore…lol. It definitely takes time to sort through everything and decide what you’ll be using this year. I had to do that a couple of weeks ago. Not fun. 🙂

Oh, I remember homeschooling with a newborn (a couple of times). Flexibility is definitely the key to making that work. Every time I wrote out meticulous lesson plans, I’d end up disappointed because we couldn’t cover everything. I ended up doing the most important subjects (reading, math, etc) and working in the rest later in the year when the baby was a little older. Best wishes this year! 🙂
