Gosh this brings back memories. My middle daughter (now a teen) used to have busy fingers. I remember when she was in 2nd grade the teacher told me that my daughter constantly would break her crayons, pencils, erasers and such. So the teacher would place those items in a bin for my daughter to use only when needed. My now 13 year old is an artist and writer. She loves sitting for hours drawing beautiful masterpieces that only a person who loves having a pen in hand could do. I didn't realize I changed her busy fingers to drawing fingers, but remember that my father and uncle also had the tendancy. It's funny that before they 'diagnosed' these activities, people were just who they were.
