Fall is nearly here!
I love summer, but fall is a close runner-up for my favorite time of year.
The leaves change colors, the weather gets cool, plus we get to start baking and knitting!
So I thought I’d share a set of printable leaf identification flashcards!
These are perfect for fall learning, but you can really use them anytime of the year.
They’d also be great for a spring unit, since that’s when plants begin to flower again.
I am woefully ignorant about plant species, so I learned quite a bit by making these.
I hope you and your students enjoy them as well!
Plus, keep reading to see how to get a set of expanded leaf identification activity cards for your class too!
Be sure to check out our other fall printables, including our Fall Sight Word Flashcards and our Fall Alphabet and Number Playdough Mats!

I’ve taught my daughter to identify some types of leaves, this year we’re going to expand on that. Learning in your own backyard 🙂 Grape and ficus, would never have thought of those leaves, I’ll have to show her those.

How fun! I can identify maybe 3 different kinds of leaves so this will be on our list of nature study to-do’s this year. Great printable!
