Learning how to count by twos, threes, and fives is such a critical skill for early learners.
But it doesn’t end there!
Counting leads to recognizing inequalities – which numbers are greater or less – and recognizing the difference between even and odd numbers as well.
Since teaching during winter can be a bit of a drag (at least it can for me), I thought this fun Yeti math practice for early grades lesson would be a fun way to perk up these basic math skills!

- Printer (with ink)
- Printer Paper (I used Astrobright paper)
- Pencils
This product includes:
- Seven skip counting practice sheets
- Two inequality practice sheets
- Two odd and even number practice sheets
- And four addition and subtraction practice sheets
If you want to use these for a math review, hand out each sheet and let students practice on their own.
You could also use them as a math center activity for several lessons!
Just laminate each page and let students practice completing them with dry erase markers.
Then they can try all over again the next day!
