Welcome to another edition of the Laugh and Learn linkup! This week, we’re sharing our favorite features from last week and extending an opportunity to share even more parenting and homeschooling posts on four different blogs!
I also wanted to share an article that I got to write over at Thinking Outside the Sandbox that’s perfect if you’re trying to grow young readers in your family. 🙂
5 Simple Activities for Early Readers
Sometimes we can overthink teaching our kids to read. While it’s true that some children need formal instruction in phonics in order to master reading, we can do a lot to encourage them by making literacy a regular event in the home.
The great news is that you don’t need an expensive early reading program to get started! There are lots of simple ways to get kids excited about reading at an early age. Stop over at Thinking Outside the Sandbox to check out five simple activities for early readers!
