Colorful Cars Pattern Clip Cards
To use these cars pattern clip cards, you’ll need the following: (This post contains affiliate links. For details, see our Disclosure Policy.)
- Printer (with ink)
- Printer Paper
- Laminator (optional)
- Scissors
- Clothespins
This product includes a set of instructions, but the cards are pretty straightforward.
Just cut out each card and then hand them out. (You might want to laminate them for durability.)

Then introduce students to the pattern shown on each card. All of the cards depict either an AABB pattern or an ABAB pattern.
For example, if the card shows two green cars followed by two magenta cars, then the next car in the sequence would be a green car. This would repeat the pattern AABB by starting over again with AA. Once the kids spot the next car in the pattern, they can clip it!
A full answer key is included too!
