Printable Spanish Flashcards: Spanish Verb Flashcards

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a new set of printable Spanish flashcards with you all, so I decided to get things going again with a set of Spanish verb flashcards!

Using verbs in Spanish is quite different than in English.

You have to conjugate (or change) the verb each time you use it so that it matches the person who is doing the action.

So, for example, the way you would say “I talk” is different than the way you would say “She talks”. In both of those phrases, the verb for “talk” would be different.

Sound confusing? It can be, but I’m working on a resource to help with verb conjugation.

In the meantime, let’s get to know basic verbs with these printables!

Printable Verb Flashcards in English and Spanish

This set of printable flashcards includes eight different verbs:

Talk
Swim
Play
Run
Drink
Write
Sleep
and Look

Printable English and Spanish Verb Flashcards

Each English card has a corresponding Spanish card, so kids can easily match them up.

There’s also a set of blank cards for review and a pronunciation guide for the Spanish words!

Spanish Community Helpers Printables

We love learning Spanish in our homeschool! And we’ve been sharing printable Spanish flashcards on the blog over the past several months.

This time, though, I wanted to share something a bit more extensive. Which is how we came up with these Spanish community helpers printables!

These are an excellent addition to a community helpers unit for preschool or early elementary grades.

Or if you’re working on learning basic Spanish vocabulary with older kids, let them work with the pronunciation guide and flashcards for memorization!

Spanish Community Helpers Printables Pack

To use this set of Spanish community helpers printables, you’ll need the following: (Affiliate links are listed below. For details, see our Disclosure Policy.)

Printer (with ink)
Printer paper
Pencils
Scissors
Laminator (if you want to laminate the Spanish community helper flashcards)

This printable pack features Spanish and English words and images for eight different community helpers:

Doctor
Veterinarian
Dentist
Firefighter
Crossing Guard
Farmer
Police Officer
and Chef!

There are printable flashcards for each community helper in English and Spanish, as well as full-size pages with the English and Spanish words and traceable phrases for practice.

One note: Some of the phrases are gender-specific. For example, the image of the firefighter is a woman, so the phrase is “la bombera”.

If the firefighter is a man, though, the phrase would be “el bombero“. The same is true with the phrase for doctor: a female doctor would be “la médica“, while a male doctor would be “el médico“.

A full pronunciation guide is also provided!

Using the flashcards is a great way to help kids memorize these words in both languages!

Kids can take turns matching the English to Spanish community helper words using the corresponding flashcards. Plus, there are cards that have no pictures at all – to help them learn to recognize the vocabulary words.

Free Printable Flashcards: Ser and Estar Flashcards

¡Hola, todos! It’s time for another edition of our Free Printable Flashcards series!

This week, I’m sharing a free set of ser and estar flashcards, which are great if you’re learning español!

Ser and estar are very important verbs in Spanish, but it’s easy to confuse them. Although they have the same basic meaning, they are used in different settings.

Also, they are conjugated differently, so if you’re talking about yourself, you use one form of ser or estar and if you’re talking about someone else, you use a different conjugation for each one.

These printable Spanish flashcards are awesome for young ones (and adults) who are working on memorizing these basic Spanish verb conjugations!

Free Spanish Ser and Estar Flashcards

Learning the difference between the verbs ser and estar is a huge stumbling block for a lot of Spanish students.

The problem is that both verbs literally mean “to be”, so it’s very easy to mix them up.

The trick is learning when to use each one, since they’re reserved for specific contexts and meanings.

If you’re unfamiliar with the usages of ser and estar, SpanishDict has a great primer you can use to learn the basics.

Printable Flashcards for Learning Ser and Estar

In the meantime, grab our free flashcards to learn how to conjugate each verb correctly for the appropriate pronoun, such as yo (I), tú (informal you), and nosotros (we).

The pack includes one set of flashcards featuring the Spanish forms of ser and their English equivalents and a second set of cards featuring the forms of estar.

There is also a set of blank cards with just the Spanish conjugations, which kids can use to memorize their English meanings.

What we did was laminate the ser and estar flashcards that included Spanish and English.

We left the set of just Spanish cards unlaminated, so the kids could copy down the vocabulary themselves.

Free Printable Flashcards: Spanish Days of the Week Flashcards

We’re continuing with our Spanish learning with this pack of free printable flashcards for learning the Spanish days of the week! We’ve already covered days of the week in English, so it’s adelante a español (on to Spanish)!

I love teaching Spanish to my kids. It helps them to converse with others, learn more about another culture, and even broadens their understanding of English! (There are several English terms that are heavily influenced by words from Latin languages, including Spanish, French, and Italian.)

Spanish Days of the Week Flashcards

To use these flashcards, you’ll need the following:
